SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKERS
At this time, the United States Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has not issued specific guidance for construction workers. The OSHA COVID-19 website (https://www.osha.gov/SLTC/covid-19/) has up-to-date information for all industries, including those with higher exposure risk levels, including a document to help companies handle workplace safety (https://www.osha.gov/Publications/OSHA3990.pdf). ESTABLISH A DESIGNATED SWEEP AT YOUR JOB SITE / WORKPLACE Identify designated sweep(s) for your office and/or job site trailer site who will be in charge of frequently disinfecting and wiping down high touch surfaces (doorknobs, handrails, handles, desks, sinks, microwaves, etc).
