Roles & Responsibilities
Mission Statement: The mission of the Safety Advisory Council is to provide safety and health resources, training and education services, information and assistance to its members, the construction industry and to promote a safe and healthy environment.
Goals: Develops and delivers a comprehensive training and education forum that will help greatly reduce and/or eliminate all workplace injuries and illnesses.
Since its formation, the Safety Advisory Council has focused most of its attention and efforts towards the Statewide Safety Expo program. Due to everyone’s hard work and tireless commitment, the Safety Expo has grown over the past ten years, exceeding everyone’s expectations.
In addition to the Safety Expo, the Council is responsible for providing training, education and safety/health related programs and services to the membership of SRBX.
In an effort to meet the objectives as outlined above, the Safety Advisory Council has expanded these services by developing and delivering additional services that include the following:

- Free Mentoring
- Networking and Collaboration Opportunities
- Free Member Helpline for any Safety and/or Risk Management Issues
