SRBX Member Services Council:
The mission of the Member Services Committee is to support the growth of the Exchange through activities to attract, educate and enroll new companies to SRBX while also retaining our existing membership base. Through the efforts of the SRBX Member Services Committee, SRBX has been successful in maintaining an 80+% retention rate by following this strategy, exceeding the average retention rate for membership organizations. If you are a general member/plan room user and you want to engage more with our membership, this council is for you!

SRBX NEXT Young Professionals:
NEXT is the SRBX Young Professionals Program which develops the next generation of construction industry leaders. By investing in the young talent of our industry, the program fosters personal and professional growth amongst current young professionals as well as bridging the gap to established members in order to provide opportunities for career advancement.

SRBX Safety Council:
This Council is made up of safety professionals representing general contractors, OSHA consultants and staff. This Council takes pride in developing and delivering a comprehensive safety event. For 2025, the Council will host a Jr. Safety Expo. They also serve as advisors on new regulations and exchange educational programs and courses. Committee meets: Lunch meeting every 3rd Wednesday, monthly.

Join the Dynamic Events Council and be part of the creative engine behind our signature events. Council members collaborate on planning, idea generation, and troubleshooting for golf tournaments, clay shoots, and recruiting volunteers, sponsorships, and raffle prizes. It’s a hands-on opportunity to shape memorable experiences and make a real impact.

Women in Construction Conference Council:
Join the Women in Construction Conference Council and play a key role in shaping one of the industry’s most impactful events. Council members collaborate on programming ideas, speaker selection, attendee experience, and outreach to ensure the conference continues to inspire, educate, and connect industry professionals. It’s a meaningful opportunity to influence the future of the industry and help elevate women in construction.

CIEF CREATE® Competition and Industry Lunch:
The CREATE® Competition aims to educate and inspire high school students to explore career paths in shaping the built environment. As a mentor, you'll provide a brief career presentation, sharing what you do and why you're passionate about it, as well as offering guidance on how the student's project relates to your specific discipline. Additionally, you may invite students to join a field trip (either virtual or in person, depending on restrictions) to one of your job sites or offices.
CIEF Nor-Cal Design Build Council:
The Design Build Council offers an opportunity to support and shape CIEF’s flagship Design Build Competition®, where industry professionals help inspire the next generation of builders by guiding students through real-world design and construction challenges. As a council member, you’ll collaborate with peers to support career awareness, mentorship, and workforce development within the construction industry. CIEF Nor-Cal Design Build Council:
The Trades Day Council gives you the chance to support CIEF’s Sacramento – High Schools Trades Day, helping industry partners engage with local students to explore construction and trade careers through hands-on activities and interactive exhibits. Council members play a role in planning, outreach, and volunteer coordination to inspire the next generation of industry professionals.
