Ryan Grooms, Chair
PTS Masonry

Ryan Grooms is an estimator at PTS Masonry. He graduated CSU Sacramento with a BS is Business Administration in 2009 and is currently enrolled in their MBA program. Ryan joined NEXT to help foster stronger relationships between all stakeholders in the construction industry, and to provide young professionals the chance to connect and start shaping these relationships.

Lindsey Cantrell

Lyndsay Cantrell, Events Chair
Broward Builders

Lyndsay Cantrell has worked for Broward Builders, Inc. since 2003 in accounting and contracts and more recently took on an additional role as a project engineer. She joined the SRBX NEXT Committee in 2015.

Jake Garcia

Jake Garcia
L&H Airco

Jake received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.  Upon graduating, he joined L&H Airco as a system engineer and DDC programmer.  Jake has a strong understanding of building automation and complete site resource management. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of California, former ASHRAE chapter president and a LEED Accredited Professional.                  

Darrin Henry

Darrin graduated Sacramento State in 2006 with B.S. in Construction Management. Darrin joined Brown Construction in 2005, while completing his college degree, and has advanced to the position of project manager while performing key roles in the management of numerous educational facility, multifamily and student housing projects throughout the state of California. He joined the NEXT committee at its’ inception excited about its’ purpose and enthusiastic about its’ potential growth.

Rachael Osborn

Capital Engineering Consultants

Rachael Osborn is the current Marketing Coordinator for Capital Engineering Consultants, Inc. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2011. She began her career in the AEC industry in 2012 and has been with Capital since August 2016 (after a one-year hiatus when she ventured into the world of education administration). She is also an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). Rachael hopes her involvement in the SRBX NEXT Advisory Committee will push her to new limits both personally and professionally, while helping to foster and improve the various experiences and opportunities for other young professionals in the area.

Jaclyn Riedel

Jaclyn Riedel
Concrete North

Jaclyn Riedel is the Contracts Administrator for Concrete North, Inc., a Structural Concrete Contractor; where she provides assistance and support to the Estimating and Project Management team. Previously, Jaclyn worked as a Marketing & Proposal Coordinator for a specialty electrical contractor with focus in utility transmission, wind, solar and hydroelectric services. She has 12 years’ experience in the construction field.  This will be Jaclyn’s third year on the SRBX NEXT committee. She enjoys networking within the construction industry and her community. She hopes her involvement in NEXT can help promote and encourage young professionals to elevate their professional image and expand their network.

Brett SnyderBrett Snyder
Cemco Construction

Brett is involved with many activities at CSU Sacramento such as the Construction Management Student Association and the Associated Schools of Construction competitions in Reno, Georgia, & Chicago. As a member of the American Concrete Institute he is heavily involved in concrete and currently works for Cemco Construction in estimating and project management. Brett brings an energetic and enthusiastic attitude to NEXT that will help promote strong relationships between young professionals.

Heather Tankersley

Heather Tankersley
Helix Electric

Heather graduated from Sonoma State University in 2008, and earned her certificate in Construction Management from UC Davis in 2014. Heather has successfully managed multi-million-dollar construction projects at universities, hospitals, prisons, and airports over her career. Heather is currently a Project Manager at Helix Electric where she is currently managing $15 million in electrical projects at both Folsom Prison and Sacramento State University. Heather enjoys spending her time with her husband, Steve and son Hunter, along with traveling, running, and family dinners in her hometown of Wilton, CA.

Ryan Tash is the Vice President of Surety1, a national bond only agency.  He has been with Surety1 since 2013 and has over 9 years of surety experience.  Ryan manages the contract bond department and is responsible for its growth and profitability.   Under his leadership, the contract department revenue has increased by 80%, now servicing over 250 active accounts throughout the country.  From new companies to large established bond programs, Ryan and Surety1 work with all types of companies that have a need for bonding.  Surety1 is appointed with over 20 surety companies, allowing Ryan to place each contractor with the best fit surety company for their bonding needs

Isaac Zipp

Isaac has worked in the accounting industry in the Sacramento area since 2005.  Prior to joining BFBA in 2015, he was with Gallina LLP for 8 years. Isaac works with closely held businesses and their owners in an effort to help them achieve their overall business and financial goals.
